Careful there. If you write "fun" and "Star Wars Galaxies" in the same sentence without sarcasm, the internet has a chance of imploding.

I think it's funny that they're talking about how muddy the code has gotten, though. I mean, maybe if they hadn't re-written the game (TWICE) and slapped it over the old version, and then driven off the people who had originally coded the game, this wouldn't have been such a big deal.

It's just another example of something that worked perfectly before, but then they broke it and the customers are paying for them to fix it, rather than having them add real content (not that real content would improve the game either). The game's got a long way to go until it has the functionality and playerbase it had at launch.

SWG is dead it will never have anywhere near the player base or quality that it had at launch. Id be willing to bet that the SWGEmu will have more subs (and probably more that actually pay even though it will be free) then the NGE SWG that we see sadly displayed today. Sadly I cannot play the Emu since apparently you need an origional disk set...all of my disks were broken in a move..oh well at least I have EVE.
