I haven't played in awhile but I found the game to be quite difficult to solo once you got into the "real world". Perhaps I wasn't using henchmen correctly but thats where it lost me.

Thrush- the key is to max out your party with henchies and heroes. If you can hold 8, take 8.

And yeah, it's a really good game.

Have they made it so I can jump yet? Just sayin..

Seriously though, GW is a beautiful game, but the control scheme leaves a lot to be desired. I just could never get over not being able to jump.

"Originally, there were districts set up for each area of the world, and they were unreachable by the various continents."

International districts were always available from the beginning of the game. It was one of the main concepts to ensure the "server seperation syndyrome" did not devlop, and that players could reach out and play with/against anyone in the game!

The new ability to reach "Home districts" was just a bonus feature, one of the many improvements the ANet has made over the years.

Well there is more behind it. It's the story with Hall of Heroes where you fought for Bonn of the Gods for you continental zone before and the two elite-zones only acsesable with the bonn, the underworld and fisure of wonds. Now all continents are one and there are no international fight for bonn of gods. You get it by worlds PvE arcievments now.

GW is truly an amazing game. Its a very unique experience over something more mainstream, say Wow. I love the instancing, and especially the highly linear storyline and cut scenes; they really bring to the table a sense of storytelling that is otherwise missing from a lot of other online games. I'm also a hige fan of how 90% of any given campaign is soloable using henchies/heroes, GREAT move on ANet's part and an idea I hope will carry over to GW2.

For new players do you recommend just buying the original game or buying the complete set to start? Whats most important to me is getting access to all the cooler features added with each game, i.e. classes, skills, etc. And is the leveling process more fun with all the packs?
