It's like when books are turned into movies. You have to go into the movie with an open mind and realize it's not going to be exactly like the book. The Elder Scrolls is an awesome series, but you can't gaurentee the MMO to be as good as the single-players for the EXACT same reasons. You have to view them as two seperate entities- and who knows? Maybe Bethesda will have some ingenius new game mechanics or awesome PvP/PvE system set up for us.

Thief Universe would do me..... (unless its based on Thief 3 version...leave it to the console users then lol)

For RTS we already have MMORTS - with many new titles here or in the pipeline, so I am content - probably will live within Beyond Protocol (you can only play one MMORTS to any degree of success - they are too intense)

It would be pretty hard to make an mmo that gives you the same "saving the world" feel a lot of single player games do. Also people have commented before about how survival horror games would be difficult to do in an mmo. Sometimes There's a reason it's single player. Unless you could get a bunch of people to play the zombies in Resident Evil or the aliens/throwaway soldier guys in Halo.

I do think that a lot of multiplayer games will become mmo-ish though.
