Well, I'm an alt-oholic so I recruit by doing low level dungeons and seeing who's good at playing or has a good personality.

We are an Alaskans only guild, and you have to get a direct referrel from an existing guildie.

Most of the current guild members actually know each other in RL, and most of of us have been "grouping" together whether in a SCA tourney, pen and paper dungeon crawl, or similar events for years.

Naturally this means we are a small, and frankly for us we enjoy the socialization more then the uber raiding.

My guild is casual and just requires you be older and mature. They also require you to fill out an application at their website. Which helps turn away the occasional pest asking "guild invite pls kthx"
