Argh. I wish Second Life had it's own section so I didn't have to keep skipping over it. >< It's not a game. There's not point to it. Booooo.

20% of any population will be POed regardless of whatever you do. and not the same 20% either. Pakka's Law.

Massively allows for feeds filtered to cater to only your specific interests. If you really can't bear coverage of anything but your favorite MMO, consider looking up the Games tab for the major-hitters that Massively covers, as well as the tags provided in articles related to your favorite MMO of choice if you're on a more niche MMO.

You are, however, not going to be able to scrub all the bits of Second Life out of your coverage. A lot of things are shared by all virtual worlds, and in many cases SL has taken them to the (il)logical conclusion. Read and weep.

P.S. You don't see me whinge about how Second Life coverage that used to be separate in its own blog is now part of Massively. I have an open mind about these things, what's YOUR excuse?

I myself will be glad that SL will be put in a seperate catagory so that I can read about actual MMOs....which is the whole point I visit massively.com. I'm interested in actual games...and not whatever SL is... Having SL here would be like having ads for tissues and nose hair clippers in my PC Gamer magazine!

I'd rather read about a Hello Kitty game....really, logging into Massively.com in the morning is almost painful since we have to go through so much (censored for younger viewers) about things that have very little to do with games. Every morning it's these long winded bits about SL.

At least this one will finally get some readers to comment on it for once!

Second Life remains our most popular category. Perhaps in coming years other non-game virtual worlds will reach similar levels of popularity. We cover those as well, as you see -- only there is less taking place in them at the present time than there is in Second Life.

Sah. Perhaps I ought to try and find out my mmo news the old fashioned way...and do the research myself. If only massively.com would let us block certain undesired content. It actually makes my left eye twitch to know that on a gaming blog, the likes of SL provide the most popular content (sob)

I'm not a Hello Kitty fan, but my 6-year-olds are. They call her "the potato with ears."

I wish we could go back to the clean SL Insider domain and escape all these game playing teenagers.

We still see all these awfull ads and banners that have nothing to do with SL.
