Notable Second Life artist, China Tracy, has apparently sold an installation in the virtual world for US$100,000, according to the New York Times - other sources suggest that the purchase price may be 100,000 Euros, not US dollars.

Kapor, the current chairman and Linden Lab's largest investor will remain on Linden Lab's board of directors.
