I realize this is a fine line to tread, but here goes anyway.

I'll never be a very good PvP player. (Old fingers. Old brain.)
My schedule and my preferences mean I'll probably never be much of a raider.
But I like my game very much, and I play it when I can, and the rewards I can get through sheer endurance (farming, grinding) are as good as it's going to get for me, so, unfortunately, what I want in a game are what you call flaws in the system, that is, things an RMT outfit profits from. Damn.

Here is the thing, grinding and farming, don't reward *good* play as much as they reward a high quantity of time spent playing. Even then, many players miss out on the social aspects of the game while solo farming whatever they feel a need to obtain.

Instead of grinding mobs or farming by rote, wouldn't you rather run a dungeon? Or perform a repeatable quest? Or *something* that makes you feel more connected to the game than a glorified solo RPG?
