4 years old? So he IS using the open source A.I. program from ALICE.

I dare to mock the professor with my own AI bot if I have the time to finish it.

You know what i don't understand...how long have computers been around? Like forever right? Why the heck do these "experts" keep saying it'd take a super computer to simulate the human brain? Seriously, get your heads out of your asses and get a couple of beefed up quad core intel chips with HT, and max out the memory slots Tie those together in a tiny cluster and I'm pretty sure you'd get a good deal of power out of them.

It's not like simulating the human brain needs to go down to the subatomic level. I think most people would be happy seeing intelligence. You don't need to go "okay so we want our AI to move an arm, let's simulate the brain thinking about it, then fire up the virtual neurons and transmit data down the virtual spine to the virtual leg. Move the leg and provide the exact feedback to our virtual brain to make sure the leg is moving." Just move the freakin' leg!
