that isn't good news to some of my friends, I've heard they saying WL for them is way slower and way more unstable than the regular client, and not all of them are running weak hardware :/

I hope those glitches go away before that

I think that's a big part of the reasoning behind moving it to a release candidate. It's supposed to be faster and more reliable. In many cases so far it has been - but it needs more use to iron out the rest of the troubles.

There's even some hardware that it *should* run on that it won't run on at all. I presume that will get caught as well.

Boo, because windlight drops my frame rates from 25fps down to 4fps even with basic shaders turned off.

It is very poor at Alpha stacking and local lights, both of these in fast timers show huge amounts of processing.

I hope they will solve the speed drop, but somehow I give that as much hope as this site loosing all the gaming guff that takes up so much of the screen.
