Thats pretty interesting. For sure the game designers have a first hand stake in the PC gaming market, but the addition of hardware vendors to the PC gaming soapbox is very nice indeed.

Yes I heard about this. I am really glad; PC games created most of the genres enjoyed on the consoles so it would be a shame to end it.

Look at some of the most celebrating 360 games; Mass Effect and Oblivion; all based on brands coming from the PC market (Elder Scrolls all originated on the PC and Bioware came straight from the PC RPG genre)

Personally I think PCs can go far; but only if some serious changes are made to the way people play PC games.

I think Microsoft has done a lot recently to help by introducing the Games for Windows and making games more prominent in stores.
