Unfortunately, this application does not run on the Mac OS.
That is a big omission. Even the Archipelis site acknowledges that it is a priority to release a Mac OS X version soon.

They might have chosen a less plug-ugly texture and ugly item to use as an advertisement for this potential to extend the use of SL. It also highlights one of the problems with creation in SL. If you use too photorealistic textures like this, the items don't look like they fit in the world, they're out of place with grass, sky, and trees that were drawn, not photorealized by the Lindens. So the better creators in SL know how to compensate for this and make a drawing rather than a mere photoreal copy.

It would be a easy tool to work with into producing "junks".
However, the problem with this program isn't very savy with polygon counts on model creation. People would ended up using more than 5 sculpty prims to create one thing while it's simple enough to produce something with only one sculpty prim.

The Texture wise, that might be its best bet in that area where people hardly have the talent to map down the texture by hands.... not sure what the hell Prok is talking about though.

Sounds great... alas, it only runs under Windows. It says .NET is required... so is it written in C#? If so, why isn't there a version the runs on Linux, given Mono?
