Today marks the 6th year anniversary of the arrival of the first prisoners to Guantanamo Bay. The American Civil LIberties Union has taken the opportunity to launch a replica of Camp X-Ray in Second Life, simulating the inhumane conditions of detention at Guantanamo. At 11 AM SLT, Progressive Island hosted the first of a series of live events dealing with the issues concerning torture and infinite detention in the U.S.-run prison.
