Maybe this is just me... It looks way too fantasy oriented to be scary. Like all the other mmo's out there... Mobs have a ring around their base so you know what you've targeted. OOOOh big scary monster... with a target ring. Weapons that don't shoot or explode, somehow manage to cause firework attack effects.
Leveling up causes a big magical burst of light to come out of your body.

A True horror mmo, would be a lot less flashy (less fireworks) and a lot more gorey. Think of Silent hill as a perfect example. The weapons are basic and clumsy adding to your panic. They don't make big sparkly booms (unless they're real bombs) because that would ruin the illusion.

Still for the Diablo fantasy fan in me, it could be entertaining.

But not horrific.

Oh, also: Bloodymare??? 'Guys, we need a word that's scarier than 'nightmare'.'

'Well, what are people afraid of? Let's use that.'

'Hmm. Tigers? Spiders? Grievous Bodily Harm?'

'Ooh, let's call it 'GBHMare! InterCaps are all the rage nowadays!'

'No, that's just stupid. Nobody would buy a game with a stupid bloody name like -- hold on. Get the marketing guys on the phone."
