I really enjoy PVP, but only really where it "matters." Dark Age O' Camelot required PVP more or less, and I loved it. Asheron's Call I played on the PVP server so I could take other peoples stuff. The average modern MMO doesn't really have a harsh enough downside to PVP. My game of choice, DDO, has plenty of PVP structure in place, and I do it occasionally because DDO playes like a console action game rather than an MMO. If it had a click to attack button like Lotro or WOW, it would be a waste of time. I with any of these games would attach a meaning to PVP.
