Love badges. After starting LotRO over again, I decided NOT leave an area until I had all the badges for that area. I've also noticed that TR is doing this as well (although it wasn't in the beta, last time I played).

Personally, I like the idea of non-combat badges, but aside from just getting a new entry in your log book, I really only go after them if there's something else involved, a la LotRO's methods: a stats boost, or a permabuff. Otherwise, I'll only go after the requirements if I can also complete quests doing it.

I love to collect the titles and badges - but I don't seem to actually ever *wear* them. In LotRO, I'm happiest with "Of Breeland". In CoH, I always wear "Heart of the City". Most everywhere else, I don't normally wear one at all.

Never much thought about it before now.

Maybe I'm just fussy about what I have hanging up there with my avatar name. Maybe I don't care to wear the same title as a just about every third person on the street.
