Meh, like you said they're going for a FPS crowd with a few extras that we've already seen before. I'm going to pass.

waiting for WAR with a bunch of friends.. We're all done playing WoW and are looking forward to something new. Right now I'm playing Hellgate, Mythos, Guitar Hero, and whatever else comes for my Wii from a game rental website I use.

Er... so Huxley PVP basically plays like a UT3 clone? No thanks.

I've seen UT3 clone used a lot when reading up on the game on various forums. This is probably not a good thing.

Aside from some pretty big issues, I liked Planetside and I'm actually looking forward to giving Huxley a try. Although, like you said, Matt, I'm more interested in seeing what the the ~other~ game mechanics will be like, the things that will supposedly set apart from just being another FPS.

What's the payment model? If they're expecting to pull in a monthly fee I think they're going to be sadly disappointed, at least in the NA market.

As for me personally, I'll pass. I had been somewhat interested, but after seeing that footage, nope, not for me.

Wallets will probably take a hit on this one as the rumorang is Webzen leaning towards a subscription fee between $10-15 a month.

Yea, the footage threw me out of my chair and clubbed me in the head. I thought Huxley was going to give TR a run for its playerbase, I don't think so now. Although, they might throw out some marvelous MMOG innovations in the open beta. You doubt it? Me too! :)
