If his research is accurate, I'm shocked to discover that average global revenue per subscriber is AS HIGH AS the "low teens". I would think that certain markets would be charged much less than $10 per month for access.

But then again, I can see where pay as you go access would quickly add up, even on an extremely low cost-per-access basis.

Coherent, that surprised me too, but I think the appreciation of the Euro has probably been a boon to Blizzard. It's nearly $1.50 now, and AFAIK EU subs pay 15 Euro/month, so that's $22/EU sub.

Also, I think WoW has done a good job of hanging in there while aging. The growth has flattened, but their in-game activity has remained amazingly stable.
