Many people in MMOs call for more engaging quests than delivery quests that are also non-combat. I think a more lively city where NPCs interact with each other and just more NPCs in general could help with this.

All in all, I prefer my world to have life. This usually means more NPCs but AI and movement wouldn't hurt! Having crowds of NPCs traveling to different locations going about their lives will make the hero feel that much more special in a world of non-adventurous lifeforms. Having them recognize you for your greatness (based on levels or deeds) and move aside as you walk would be icing on the cake.

Lastly, could you put some sort of line between paragraphs before and after the read link? the paragraphs get squished together and I don't know where I left off ;)

Fixed that line break, thanks for the heads up.

And yeah, I think having a lot of NPCs running around cheering or fearing you would be great. It was one aspect of the old Xbox game Fable I loved, that depending upon your deeds you got the feeling of being a hero or a villain as you went about your daily life.
