I've been playing this game since the beginning of the closed beta and I have to say, while it is very Anime cute, it's an awesome game. And besides, most gamers (even hardcore gamers as I am...there's few games I haven't played) love Anime, so it's a win-win.

There are, however, a few problems still with the game, but that is why games like these have beta sessions. Don't let the few glitches with wrong NPC names and the camera frequently going through the environment discourage you from the game. Just keep notes on the issues and glitches to report them. As with all games, there are always going to be glitches, especially at the beginning. Heck, WoW and FFXI still have glitches and if you like either of those games, you will love DOMO.

DOMO is a mixture of FFXI and WoW with a feel that makes the game fun and makes even ppl who aren't into video games have fun (kinda like what the Wii does for console games). The similarities to FFXI is the loss of xp (not a lot as far as I can tell) when you die (and only happens after lvl 10) and the ability to set up shop. While true that you can't actually set up a stall in FFXI, you can set up your chars to sell things. As for it's likeliness to WoW...your armor does need repaired every once and again and you get xp for quests (which you don't get in FFXI...the only reasons for quests in FFXI is to progress through the storyline).

One more thing, don't give up on the game if you aren't interested in it after only 5 minutes of playing (my husband always does that) because once you get to Eversun City and participate in bunches of quests the storyline is awesome. Ohh, and I love the chat bubbles. :D And just so ya'll know, I played FFXI for 2 1/2 years and WoW for 2 years and I still like DOMO...considering the variations of the mobs, I say it's gonna be a while before I get bored with this one because I've yet to find much repetition.

Happy Gaming Minna-san!
