Ugh... this shot illustrates quite neatly why SWG failed utterly.
DARTH VADER. The name represents the terror and magnificence of the Empire, right? The single most feared man in this chunk of the galaxy, right?
So how does SWG represent Darth Vader? A puppet leaning awkwardly against the wall in damp, dark basement. Look up at that picture!!! He's just standing there up against the wall as if he's a discarded mannequin! He doesn't even have a stormtrooper mannequin honor guard.
It's obvious that all of 30 seconds went into designing the space around him. "Stick him in this room, yeah, up against the wall is good. Slap some consoles around him, hmm, some of those poles too. There, that's fine. Concrete walls okay? Ok we're done."
The Lakeshire Town mayor has a better representation than Darth Vader. SWG squandered the universe they were given.
